Guide / How it works
Here we present the Online UM - Intensive Training Programme (UM-ITP). We will guide you step by step through the programme so that you can complete the training smoothly and successfully.
We will explain how to register, log in, take the entrance test and enrol in the programme.
We will also show you how to handle the learning materials, download the learning materials and use them. You will also be familiarised with the control tests shortly.
At the end, a final test awaits you, which will test your newly acquired skills and a UM certificate, which represents and confirms them.
To emphasise once again - our aim is to improve the characteristics of memory:
A - Capacity of the memory
B - Speed of the memory
C - Expression and precision of the memory
D - Long-term memory
double, triple or tenfold, depending on the training level you complete.
You also have the opportunity to find out more about Ultima Memoria (point 10).
To use this application efficiently, please read this guide carefully first. Then implement the instructions step by step.
Step 1: Registration
You can register by clicking on the ‘Registration’ field on the start page (Home) or directly here and then filling out the registration form. Assign your own username and password, which you can use to log in to the Ultima Memoria Application in future once you have completed registration.
To complete the registration, you will receive a verification e-mail to the valid e-mail address you entered during registration.
Only after you have confirmed the verification link in the e-mail this step will be completed.
You can then log in in step 2.
Step 2: Login
You can log in directly here or on the start page (Home) in the ‘Login’ field with your username and password.
If you have forgotten your password, you can reset it there to receive new access data.
Once you have logged in, click on the ‘Entrance test’ button on the homepage (Home) to continue.
Step 3: Entrance test (I)
Here you will be taken to the entrance test.
Take your time for the test and create a quiet environment in which you can concentrate well.
Once on the page, read the text carefully and then select a difficulty level and the form of presentation of the information units (IU) (unless the level and / or the form have already been predefined in advance).
As soon as the difficulty level has been set, press the ‘Start the test here’ button.
Step 4: Entrance test (II)
After you have pressed the ‘Start the test here’ button, the test begins and you can no longer leave the page. Randomly generated information units (IU) appear in the 100-cell matrix shown on the page.
In your case, each information unit (IU) is displayed as a single-digit number, as individual letters or as a combination of both, depending on which selection has been made. Memorise the information units (IU) as single-digit numbers or individual letters.
Do not use any aids. (This would only slow down or even severely hinder your learning progress).
Step 5: Entrance test (III)
After the counter has expired, you will be redirected automatically to the enquiry pages.
Your memory performance (capacity and speed) is tested on this page.
Enter the correct information unit (IU) in each field. Corrections are not allowed. (One information unit (IU) per field!)
Step 6: Entrance test (IV)
Query of expression and precision of memory.
Write the correct information unit (IU) in the specific field you are asked about. Corrections are not permitted. (One information unit (IU) per field!)
Step 7: Entrance test (V)
Before the information units (IU) for the long-term memory test are requested, we ask you to take part in the memory game that appears.
Step 8: Entrance test (VI)
This is where the long-term memory is queried.
Enter the correct information unit (IU) in each field. Corrections are not allowed. (One information unit (IU) per field!)
Step 9: Entrance test (VII)
After completing the entrance test, you will be directed to the evaluation page where you can see your test results in all four categories. You can then click on the ‘to Admission’ button to go directly to the Admission page.
Step 10: Admission
On the Admission page, you can find out which level of the UM Intensive Training Programme (UM-ITP) you have qualified for.
Under ‘Classification’, select the level at which you would like to complete the training programme. As a rule, the participants' wishes will be honoured.
The charges for this level can be found under 'Charges’.
As soon as you click on the ‘Subscribe’ button, you are enrolled for the selected level.
You will next be redirected to the ‘Payment’ page where you are able to pay your training expenses securely and conveniently.
Step 11: Payment
You are able to pay your training expenses securely and conveniently on the Payment page.
Once you have paid the training expenses, you will receive an e-mail with your enrollment details after which you can proceed to the learning material and start the UM Intensive Training Programme (UM-ITP).
Step 12: Approval and confirmation of admission
The confirmation of admission, classification and payment of charges is followed by approval and confirmation of approval.
You will receive the confirmation of admission by e-mail.
Once you have received the confirmation of admission, you will be able to access the learning materials and start your UM Intensive Training Programme (UM-ITP) here.
Step 13: Congratulations and good luck!
